For this project we worked to produce exhibition interpretation for Spalding Gentlemen’s Society. This exhibition focused on ethnographic objects in the collection and told the story of global connections in the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Our research led to new discoveries about previously unidentified objects, which in turn led to the collection’s catalogue being updated. This project culminated in a talk given by us to society members, highlighting how the research was conducted, and the benefits this had to the catalogue and collection as a whole.
